Fixed activity programs
All Small Society branches work from an activity program that ensures that children are offered varied and development-oriented activities. A development-oriented activity program has been developed for this purpose at the Small Society daycare centers. At the after-school care locations, work is carried out from a varied program where children can choose an activity themselves.
A varied range of activities is offered daily at all locations.
The activity programs focus on the different age groups and development areas of young children. The range of activities is aimed at the balanced development of young children and the conscious stimulation of the development areas.
Simple and short to more extensive activities are offered daily. These activities are prepared and carried out by the pedagogical staff. The location manager supports the pedagogical staff and ensures a balanced offer. In order to achieve a balanced and development-oriented offer, the daycare centers work with an activity matrix.
Within the Small Society activities program, regular attention is paid to working along themed activities. Themes can be set for an entire site and for a specific period.
When offering activities, regular external partners who are specialized in this area are also regularly used (e.g. music, sports, nature education, dance or art).
If you would like more information about the range of activities available at the Small Society locations, please contact your location manager.
Playgroups VVE program
At the playgroup locations, work is carried out along a specific activity program that focuses, among other things, on a good connection with primary school (VVE: pre-school and early childhood education).
