New pregnancy yoga course starts June 15, 2020

The lessons are given from 7:00 PM to 8:15 PM on location de Koning in Amsterdam. The next course starts June 15, 2020. There are still places available.

Relaxation and preparation for pregnancy and birth

Every year, Small Society offers several pregnancy yoga courses. The courses are taught by our regular and experienced yoga teacher, Wilma Frederiks, at our office in Amsterdam. More information can be found at www.wilmafrederiks.nl.

The courses are accessible to affiliated parents and other interested parties.

Pregnancy yoga can be started from the 20th week, the class lasts more than an hour. In the class Hatha Yoga exercises and meditations are done that are especially suitable during pregnancy. The course consists of 8 lessons. No experience in Hatha Yoga is required to participate in the course. The yoga prepares for the pregnancy and birth of the baby. It helps to relax, to be in contact with your own body and the baby. The exercises that are challenging help to focus and relax during labor and to keep breathing properly.
